Giving Back to the Community - Month of June

Sushi-Zen Japanese Restaurant opened its doors in the Lee Harrison Shopping Center on June 27, 1997. Throughout the past 10 years it has been the support of the Arlington community and surrounding areas that has allowed Sushi-Zen to continue serving as Arlington’s Neighborhood Gathering Place.

To celebrate 10 years of business, Sushi-Zen is sponsoring a series of fund raisers with non-profits that have Arlington
community connections. The goal of Sushi-Zen is to raise over $10,000 in 2007 to be donated to these 10 charities and non-profits. 10 Fundraisers—10%--$10,000

10 fundraisers will be held with 10 different organizations throughout 2007. 10% of the total sales for the day will be
donated to the non-profit. For those who identify themselves as supporting the fundraiser of the day, an additional 10% of their meal will be donated to the non-profit for a total of 20% of that dining ticket (tax & tip not included). If you can’t come to Sushi-Zen on the fundraiser designated day or wish to make an additional donation, just mark “Sushi-Zen” in the memo section of the donation envelope for the non-profit you are supporting so it counts towards the fundraiser. Envelopes will be available at Sushi-Zen on the day of the fundraiser. AnniversaryTee shirts will be available. $5.00 from each sale will be donated to the non-profit of your choice.
